Second Annual Backpack Drive 2024

Our second annual backpack drive for the homeless was nothing short of extraordinary, marking a significant leap from our inaugural effort. Thanks to an outpouring of support from our community, spearheaded by Hometown Pharmacies, our impact multiplied exponentially.

With displays set up in their stores showcasing items for donation and a round-up campaign that raised an impressive $2338.75, we were propelled closer to our goal of securing housing for our first candidate.

The collective effort, from the social media posts, to the pharmacies collecting items, on to the staff at the home office processing and organizing donations, culminated in an astounding achievement: we quadrupled our previous year's output, filling a remarkable 100 backpacks.

Teaming up with The Gathering of Southeast Wisconsin, we ensured that these essential supplies reached those in need.

As we reflect on this incredible success, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to surpass our accomplishments in the years to come, rallying together to make an even greater impact on our community.
