Memorial Day 2024

This year, Second Chance Heroes continued our tradition of paying tribute to our nation's veterans by placing red, white, and blue floral arrangements on their graves. We had the honor of participating in the Madison Veterans Council’s 123rd Annual Memorial Day ceremony, held at the historic Forest Hills Cemetery in Madison.

With a deep sense of respect, Madden led the way in finding graves that lacked any decorations, ensuring that even those without family present were remembered and honored. The vibrant colors of the flowers reflected our enduring gratitude and commitment to recognizing the sacrifices made by these brave men and women.

Each Memorial Day, we strive to bring this gesture of remembrance to new locations, broadening our reach across the state. As we look forward, Second Chance Heroes is eager to start fundraising efforts and partnering with local floral businesses to enhance this tradition.
